Raising Healthy Children: Human-centred Learning in an Age of Technology and AI

In an era of AI and technology, the importance of developing and growing our capacity in skills and competencies that make us inherently human and unique will be key to thriving.

Together with a panel of experts in education, changemaking, psychology and cybersecurity and tech health, we will unpick what this means and try to tackle some key BIG questions that many parents and educators are grappling with as we collectively strive to empower lifelong learning and wellbeing:

  • How can we help children and young people engage with technology in a healthy way that furthers their growth and development, rather than hinders brain development or social engagement?
  • What is the impact of AI on learning and what can we do as educators and parents to help learners (and ourselves!) to navigate the challenges and opportunities that this poses to humanity?
  • How can we be part of an active conversation and transformation in learning that has ethics, wellbeing and personal life-learning at the forefront of technological advancements?
  • How can parents help nurture and encourage healthy behaviours
  • What do we need to do as parents and educators to upskill ourselves and model healthy behaviours and usage?

We will also open the floor to questions from the audience during a Q&A section, where we want to hear the big questions and challenges you have and are curious to discuss or learn more about.
