The World's Best School Prizes are run by T4 Education. They find the schools changing what learning can be, and share what they do with the world.
Thousands of schools apply each year, from every corner of the globe. Judges narrow them down to a Top 10 shortlist in five categories: Innovation, Environmental Action, Community Collaboration, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives.
Learnlife has been shortlisted in the Top 10 for Innovation.

Why Learnlife was chosen
We were recognised for building a school on trust where children take ownership of their learning and leave ready for life.
Most schools are built on control. We built ours on trust.
Learners aren't measured against a test. They're trusted to take charge of their own learning, with guides and mentors beside them who know them deeply. They follow a personal learning plan shaped around who they are and where they want to go. They learn through authentic, real-world projects, not textbooks.
There are no standardised exams or grades. Instead, your child shows what they've learned through outputs and work they're proud of, presented in their own words. They build the confidence to stand up, explain their thinking, and back it up.
This doesn't mean that academic standards and rigorous learning are sacrificed. It's quite the opposite.
Our learners go deep in their learning and gain the qualifications and skills they need for life. Our learners feel held to high expectations in their learning and score 13% above the global benchmark for other schools in an independent student voice survey for this measure.
